Although it’s still one of my favorite platforms for learning creative skills, finding Domestika courses in English can be frustratingly difficult.
I understand that most courses are in Spanish because the company started in Spain, but with a growing catalog of English-language courses you’d think it would be easier to find them on the platform.
But it isn’t. There’s no category for audio language on the web version, and the Domestika app only occasionally displays English courses – and not all of them.
To help others avoid my frustrations, I’ve put together this list of every single Domestika course in English. If you’re looking for specific recommendations, check out the best list below.

I’ve broken them down by category, so feel free to jump to the area that interests you most. I’ll also keep this article up to date as more English courses are added to Domestika over time. Let’s get into it!
September 2021 update: Tons more courses have been added to the list.

Although Steve uses Affinity Designer throughout the course, you are free to use whatever software you’re familiar with. Most of the course design and drawing is analog, so you really just need a piece of paper and a pencil. Also make sure you have a spare 7-inch record to display your final work!

Editorial Illustration for Magazines
Teacher: Illustrator Emma Hanquist
Duration: 15 lessons (2h 13m)

Composition and Color for Creative Illustration
Teacher: Illustrator Marcos Chin

This illustration course takes a step back from technique and teaches the basics of composition and color for illustrations. You will learn how to create narrative drawings that truly express the unique way you see the world.
Although the course content uses both Photoshop and Illustrator, you can complete the course content using entirely analog materials. No matter where you are in your illustration journey, this is one of the best Domestika English courses on the platform for illustrators.

Acrylic Techniques for Creative Illustration
Teacher: Illustrator and author Jon Berkeley
Duration: 20 lessons (4h 19m)

Design courses
Logo Design: From Concept to Presentation
Teacher: Graphic designer Sagi Haviv
Duration: 16 lessons (2h 33m)
Logo design is a delicate process. It has to be simple enough to be memorable, but unique enough to not seem generic. And most important of all, it has to please the client!
This Domestika course from respected graphic designer Sagi Haviv will help guide you through the entire logo and identity creation process, including dealing with a difficult client.
Although the course is complete and filled to the brim with great advice, it’s worth noting that it’s for design beginners. The course is heavy on theory, and mostly explains the thought behind why you make/choose a logo rather than the technical skills of actually drawing it.
Introduction to UX Design
Teacher: UX designer Ethan Parry
Duration: 22 lessons (3h 9m)
User experience design, or UX design, touches literally everything around us at all times, whether we know it or not. It encompasses every interaction you’ll ever have with any product or service, shaping the way you think and feel about using it.
If you want your customers or users to enjoy your products, it’s time to start learning the basics of UX design.
You don’t necessarily need to be a designer to get the most out of this course, as it’s focused more on theory, brainstorming, and ideation rather than the use of software.
Note: This teacher has another course teaching the basics of leading UX software Adobe XD in the Technology category below, and it serves as an excellent follow up to this course.
Brand Strategy for Online Platforms

By establishing a brand concept for your business or project, you can connect to your audience through a harmonious strategy that includes graphics, UX design, and text on both digital platforms and print.
This course is great for business owners and entrepreneurs who want to give their brand a proper showing, but some of the concepts might be a bit basic and shallow for design students.
