Domestika English courses: All English-language courses

Although it’s still one of my favorite platforms for learning creative skills, finding Domestika courses in English can be frustratingly difficult.

I understand that most courses are in Spanish because the company started in Spain, but with a growing catalog of English-language courses you’d think it would be easier to find them on the platform.

But it isn’t. There’s no category for audio language on the web version, and the Domestika app only occasionally displays English courses – and not all of them.

To help others avoid my frustrations, I’ve put together this list of every single Domestika course in English. If you’re looking for specific recommendations, check out the best list below.

I’ve broken them down by category, so feel free to jump to the area that interests you most. I’ll also keep this article up to date as more English courses are added to Domestika over time. Let’s get into it!

September 2021 update: Tons more courses have been added to the list.

Thank you, this is a brilliant list. I have been taking this course. https://www.domestika.org/en/courses/1767-creating-ceramics-with-character

I’m about half-way through, so just about to start making the vases, as the first half is about illustration and tools. It is really great so far, and worth a look!

Thanks Luna! That one was actually on the list (but not that teacher’s follow-up course). It was time for an update though, so I’ve just finished adding about 50 more courses published in the past two months. Enjoy!

Hey I was also looking for English classes and found one that offered Spanish AND English audio (not just subtitles). But how can I turn the English audio on, for me it still only plays Spanish, canโ€™t find a button to switch to the English audio โ€“ any advice

    1. Nick Rowan Avatar

Thatโ€™s a great question! I havenโ€™t participated in any dubbed classes yet, so Iโ€™m not sure. Can you change the audio language by clicking on the settings gear in the video? If that doesnโ€™t work, try opening your account settings and changing the default language to English.

Whatโ€™s the name of the course? Iโ€™ve only seen two that are dubbed in all my searching. Domestika did that very briefly before moving to native English courses.

      1. Francis Burns Avatar

To change the audio language in a Domestika video, click the three dots in the top right corner of the video. In the displayed menu, select Audio. Then, from the options displayed, select the language you want. ๐Ÿ™‚
